Taken it its totality the footage assembled by the Guardian it looks like the Police have been hyped up by their training against ‘the summer of rage’ (coined by the Police, nobody else)and were itching for a fight. Ski masks, deliberate hiding of badge numbers etc shows a certain amount of premeditation.
